My wife and I enjoyed the Carnival Breeze very much. The food was fantastic and the ship was great. The service provided by everyone from the cabin stewards to the wait staff in the dining room was superb. We will definitely cruise on the Breeze again.
This was our fifth cruise and was the best by far. You could do as little or as much as you wanted and there were plenty of choices to accommodate anyone. The shows were fun and the live band #Rhyhymnation was really good.
We went to Dominican Republic, Grand Turk, Curaçao and Aruba. At DR, recommend going to the Casa de Campo Beach. It was clean and had well maintained facilities. GT, Curaçao and Aruba were great ports and had no problems at all.
We ate at the Italian restaurant on the ship one night. It's is extra but well worth it. We did not try the steakhouse but heard it was good.
We spent a lot of time on the Lido deck. Deck chairs were sometimes hard to get especially on sea days, but there are plenty of other places to go. Some people complained about the policy not to "hold" or "reserve" chairs, but the staff was only attempting to keep people from reserving chairs and not using them. They put stickers on the chairs with the time noted on them. I think it was just a friendly reminder to not hold chairs indefinitely so that those that were actually on deck had access to them. Some folks got stickers right after going to the pool or to get a drink or food, but it was no big deal as long as you came back in a reasonable amount of time. Some folks were kind of offended by getting the stickers, but it really was no big deal.
The self serve ice cream machines were a big hit as well as Guy's Burger Joint. Those burgers were addictive! So, don't go on this cruise thinking your going to lose weight unless you have incredible self control. Forget about it and enjoy.
All in all, it was a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone. Best cruise we have been on so far.
