Overall, we had a really good experience. We arrived at the Pier at 1 pm and walked right on the ship. Embarkation was all of 10 minutes. Our expectations for the ship were low because we knew it's an older and smaller ship. It was definitely dated but the cabins were comfortable and had flat screen TVs with a lot of channels. Service was good and the ship was not crowded, even though it was a holiday week (easter and passover). The food was very average. There was one night of very rough seas. It was the 4th night (leaving San Francisco). Other than that one night, it was smooth sailing. I hardly ever get seasick but that one night was a killer. Entertainment was good, the cruise director full of personality and the ports were interesting, except for Mexico. Biggest issue was the weather. It was low to mid 60s the entire time - a bit too cold. It was 60 degrees and cold in Mexico. What a shame. The aft pool is heated (too hot actually) so we did get some pool time. The kids programs need help and more activities. Disembarkation seemed to take a while because there was a long line to get in to get off the ship, but to our surprise, Immigration was done on the ship so that was wonderful because then we walked off, grabbed our luggage and went. Much better than immigration with the luggage. I would definitely sail on Celebrity again.
