Singapore to Japan

Sail Date: April 2014
Destination: Asia
Embarkation: Singapore

Hotel stayed was holiday in express Magazine Rd Clark Quay and arrived 1day prior to cruise. We walked done to china town in the morning before taking a cab to the pier . Embarkation was a slow process from previous cruises taken and there was a 5 hour delay in sailing away Was a bit disappointed that many of the Japanese facilities. Advertised at time of booking and throughout the months, weeks and days leading up to sailaway we're not available no reason was provided to passengers as to the reason these facilities were still not available as this was the main reason for booking this cruise.

cruise ports visited were

The diamond was in dry dock and public rooms were very impressive . Overal the layout of the ship were the same as the Golden Our cabin was spacious with everything provided. enough closet space to hang up the suits and dresses We used room service on many occasions for breakfast whilst viewing the ocean waves and lovely breezes

DH &I used More anytime dining which suited us and shared many dinners with people from many different countries .Service staff were slow in the Horizon Court and sometimes really didn't seem to care staff I the dining rooms on most occasions were attentive and courteous

Entertainment - we didn't see many to the artists or the Showtime events but the

One show event we did catch was woeful this is a cruise ship of adults ad not children I noticed some walking out

tours - we didn't participate in the ship provided tours mainly due to the expense but enjoyed tours arranged by another CC member these prices were of better value and we saw many of the same sites that Diamond were offering.

We also did some sightseeing on our own with recommended areas to visit

overall all we enjoyed the cruise We will definitely be looking at more to enjoy our cabin x Less
