From the moment we arrived at the Pier in NYC, we knew it was going to be a great week. Everyone was friendly, smiling and I think they could sense my excitement and they allowed me the thrill of being over the top with our trip. Once we boarded the mighty ship the party started, live music was playing, cold fruity drinks were served and we were here!. The staff on the Splendor was so professional, they knew our name within the first day and they are always smiling.

The food, awesome!...We love to try new things and every night we loved to see what the chef had up his sleeve. The elegant nights are fun, so go ahead, dress up, look your best, then go dancing! The ship is colorful, comfortable, and has plenty of little nooks to sit, hold hands, have a drink and just be together. We are married 29 years this year, and the clubs, the piano bar, the lounges are wonderful places to get cozy, listen to a band or musician, enjoy the evening. Our stateroom was perfect, and our cabin stewart was great. We even gave him extra in gratuities, he really went above and beyond and kept our room always ready for anything.

I really can't say enough about our trip, we had photos done, we enjoyed the drink of the day...we made friends, had afternoon naps with a breeze from the ocean blowing in...and best of all, we made memories that we will cherish forever.
