My husband & I took our first cruise aboard Norweigan Cruise Lines EPIC from Barcelona on a 20 day B2B meditterean & Transatlantic Cruise. Apart from a minor glitch at the pier registration (due to a less that customer friendly feamale staff member) our cruise was a delight! The EPIC is HUGE but you would not know the amount of people on board as there is plenty to do and see so you don't have a real idea how many people there are aboard until you disambark & look for your suitcase!

Our mini suite, cabin #11262 had plenty of room for the two of us with hidden cupboards, plenty of hanging space and room for the suitcases under the bed. Our steward, Voltaire, could not have been more helpful, pleasant or curteous throughout the entire cruise from providing extra ice when I had a fall to repairing my husbands shoe.

The Garden Fresh Cafe(complementary) on the top deck is a buffet that caters for every appetite ranging from steamed rice, hot curries & pappadums, salad & vegetable dishes, your traditional roast dinner and everything in between. The two complementary dining rooms Taste and The Manhattan Room also offer delicious menu choices including surf & turf (steak and a lobster tail) at least once during the cruise. O'Sheean's has a menu similar to an old pub with chicken pot pie, fish & chips etc, very delicious! We did not use the specialty restaurants - with such fabulous complimentary menus to choose from, why pay for a meal?

Cabin Review

Generous space - plenty of room for 2 - loved the layout from the door - bathroom, bed, sofa and balcony. Very little noise, plenty of room on the balcony for the 2 of us, Curved walls were no a problem for us. Plenty of hanging and storage space.
