Carnival must have saved money on this cruise
Destination: Eastern Caribbean
I would not recommend this cruise. It seemed like Carnival skimped with this one to spend more on other ones. We sailed to Nassau, Bahamas (port was dirty and we were not there very long to do too much), St. Thomas (didn't get there til mid morning and then had to be back on the ship by 5, plus we were not docked at the normal dock with all the shops and because of that the taxis were more expensive cuz we were farther away from things. Maybe this dock was cheaper?? Hhmmmmmm.....?? We also went to San Juan and Grand Turk. Same thing. Short times on the island. Grand Turks cruise port was awesome though. Had everything you needed. Another disappointing thing was when you came back on the ship and wanted something to eat you only had pizza or the deli to choose from in the late afternoon. All the other food was shut down. I think they need to get their regular burger shop back with the chicken fingers. Guys Burgers and fries are way to greasy! And how can you have a Salsa Bar without More
chips?? Never heard of such a thing.
Our Mexican fiesta midnight buffet thing was cancelled due to the rough weather outside because it was suppose to be by the pool. So why not have it inside? No, they just cancelled it all together.
I guess I will stick to the cruises (and cruise lines that are docked on an island right when you wake up and don't leave until 5,6 or7. Less
