Sail Date: Jun 2013

To start off with, we booked this cruise a month and a half before sail date, at an expensive price.

A relative drove us to the port of Manhattan, we got there at around 10:30 a.m. It was too early but the earlier the better. They didn't let us in until about 11:30 a.m after all the check-ins. After we got on the ship, we were told that staterooms weren't going to be ready until 2:00 p.m so we went to the buffet to grab some lunch, unfortunately it was packed. We finished our lunch, it was 1:15 p.m, we went to check if our staterooms were ready, and they were! Our luggage didn't come until 7:00 p.m. We walked around the beautiful ship, did some dinner reservations, had a sail away/welcome aboard party, and just saw some places around the ship. We then got to our cabin to change for dinner. We had dinner at the Grand Pacific MDR every night. The food was okay.
