Ship is on the small side which I liked. It is pretty but not over the top grand like some ships. The cabins seemed smaller than on some other lines. Not as much storage space. It is an American crew but for the most part we were very satisfied with the service. There is one exception and that would be with the assistant wait staff. The ones we dealt with were inefficient and sometimes rude. The cruise director and some of her staff were also just so so lacking personality. The food is decent but you will not get upscale dining. Perhaps if you pay for one of their alternative dining areas but we did not. There are not an abundant of activities since you are in port everyday. The shows were decent but no broadway style shows. This is a great way to see Hawaii. I loved how much time we had in ports. You can gets some great exercusions without going through the cruise line. I recommend going a few days early to get acclimated. Long flights and time change can takes its toll. Think twice before booking tour day of embarkation. We had an all day Island Circle Tour scheduled for 9 am and we stood in line to load bis for an hour and 20 minutes. Tour was ok mostly stopping at gift shops and a mediocre lunch but the drive along the shores was beautiful.
This room has lifeboats underneath and several days they were working on them and it made it impossible to sit on balcony or nap.
