Well to start with, the embarkation was very smooth and the staff was very friendly. Once we were on board and finding our balcony cabin, we were some what disappointed. Our balcony cabin was much smaller that it appears in the pictures and our balcony was like being in a large cave with a large oval opening that was to high to be able to sit in the chairs they provided to and see out. We were the third cabin from the front of the ship. We had some long waits for the elevators must of the time. The pools are very small for this size of this ship. We also had problems with finding places that were quiet enough to read and relax...The library is small and was always full with some people reading and just some people sleeping on the sofa's.. We had made reservations in the Italian restaurant to enjoy nice music and a nice dinner and was surprised by the loud band playing in the atrium and then as we were having dinner we thought the ceiling was coming down, only to realize that the bowling alley was right above us...The Captain and some crew were sitting a couple of tables over and just smiled as if were no problem. The buffet was actually quite good and they had all the Lobster you could eat the second night. The service in the Manhattan and Taste was very slow and the food was average. The Ceric show was very good, but we sit upstairs and was very cramped, too many people in a small area...the food and the service was good. The Blue Man Group was very good...Overall it was good for the price we paid, but don't think we will be back on board even though we have always been very very pleased with Norwegian other ships.
