This was our 6th Carnival cruise. All on different ships. The Sunshine was easily the worst ship we've ever been on. Comedy club holds only about 200 and the Liquid Lounge maybe 600. On a ship with over 3,000 folks. You have to wait in line (some folks waited 1.5 hours for a comedy show) and then get turned away because they're full. If you happen to make it into either venue you stand a good chance of having to sit on the side and watch the show on a TV. The shows are terrible. Basically a large video screen with a few performers in front of it. I expect they will eventually eliminate the performers altogether.

Our ocean suite was the same size as a standard balcony on other ships. Took over 2 hours to have dinner (late seating) every night and the food was usually cold by the time it arrived. The ship has been cut up into so many different small areas there doesn't seem to be room for all the pax on board. You have to stand in line for just about everything. The library was always standing room only. The pool is about the size of the average backyard pool. You have to walk thru the middle of the smoky casino to get just about anywhere aft. Oh, and I guess Carnival no longer provides priority debark with a suite. We haven't decided if we're done with Carnival but we are definitely done with the Sunshine.

Cabin Review

Small and cramped. Tub about 4' long. Toilet diagonal so you knees hit the tub. No privacy in the dressing area so that's essentially just wasted space. Overall I give the room about a 4 out of 10.
