We enjoyed this cruise more than any others in the Caribbean. The Carnival Dream was appropriately named; it is a Dream with beautiful decor and amenities, fantastic staff, and a great itinerary. We started our cruise with dinner in the Steakhouse on the first evening - great food and service and a warm, friendly staff. The entertainment on the Dream was the best we have experienced in several cruises.

In Cozumel, we booked an all-inclusive visit at a resort and enjoyed the pools, beach, drinks, food, and a very gracious staff. In Belize, we went on a Carnival excursion to the Xunantunich Mayan ruins, near the Equador border. This gave us the opportunity to see some of the Belize countryside, see the ruins, and have a great lunch on the way back to the ship. In Roatan, we made reservations for a private tour with Bodden Tours. This was one of the best days we have experienced in any of the ports - great guide/driver, beautiful scenery, great glass bottom boat tour, fantastic lunch at Foster's Restaurant, and even had fun visiting the monkeys. The food, scenery, and atmosphere at Foster's was perfect, even before the Monkey LaLa drinks. We are already planning another cruise on the Dream with basically the same itinerary.

Cabin Review

Very comfortable cabin in a convenient location on the ship. We normally choose an interior cabin on a lower deck, midship.
