Ship Facts: MSC Divina Review (by Cruise Critic!) | MSC Divina Deck Plans
Performances ROCKED....Ship didn't.

The performances on the Moody Blues Cruise were stellar. All performers selected were outstanding along with a good variety. Occasionally, there would be scheduling conflicts with different performers or events but that's to be expected. The performers were also very personable and approachable.

Our cabin was a large balcony with a king size bed. I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath tub in the cabin. There were enough drawers, closet space and hangers to meet our needs. Our cabin was always clean.

The ships staff was friendly and accommodating and pleasant. With that being said. They tried to establish smoking areas but depending on the wind (which was most of the time) the smoke and smell would drift over into the none smoking areas.

The food left a lot to be desired. Little choice on the buffet. The buffet menu consistently reminded me of my college days. Loaded with starches, hamburgers, cheese burgers, hotdogs, lunch meat and bread with some fruits and salad. The buffet was suppose to be open 24 hours. It was open to get coffee, tea, juice 24/7, but with specified dining times only. The main dining offered a small choice. Your dining time determined which dining room. Little variety on the menu. The food was ok, but nothing I would consider great.

If you purchased the upper level drink package, you were allowed to use your tickets for your mini bar too. The problem with this was each day had to be settled with accounting. Most of the time, I would have to go down and correct something due to a discrepancy. Maybe they should consider installing a system where your drink tickets were loaded directly onto your cruise card. Just seems easier and more efficient that returning to the reception desk each day to reconcile, then returning a second time when things were not properly credited.

We did not use the excursions this cruise but were provided with a good variety of excursion choices. Grand Turks even though it is historically significant to the United States Space Program, looks like a cookie cutter cruise port, primarily set up and used by the cruise lines. The beach and pool by the dock were both very nice and convenient. If you are looking for local culture then I prefer Nassau.
