While some of the bad reviews are overboard (no pun intended) Most are somewhat accurate. Of course its all subjective. I have been on many many cruises. I keep my opinions as real as possible. If you believe in you get what you pay for...It may in fact be true here. If you love the newer ships that are out there, you may have to look over some cosmetic issues... I did. The service was excellent on this ship. But be prepared to ask for things that you may need. As an example, If you are expecting ice and a bucket in your room, Its not going to happen...Unless you ask for it... Not even the suites have this. The Mini bars in your room are locked unless you ask for it to be opened. Ours was warm and was never cool so we dident use it. Don't expect to be waited upon... ASK!

The staterooms are good. The newer flat screens that have been installed are a bit small and sort of crooked as they are installed where the old larger sets were. Its obvious that this ship is leaving the fleet as they are putting as little money as they can into it. You wont see the normal service personnel scurrying about scrubbing vacuuming polishing.. But there are people for service of passengers. That was pretty good. A port everyday is great... The ship does not have a lot of things to do. The casino is usually empty as its obvious....money in... no money out. Talent on the ship is rated at well..... Pathetic to barely tolerable. This cruise is not meant to entertain you per se...

The cruise director pretty much tells you that due to a port everyday that the entertainment is the ports of call. I had a great time on this cruise as I made my own things to do.... This is not a negative review.... Its just what I experienced. I would go again for sure. Be aware that they cancel excursions if not enough people sign up... so keep checking if you have booked an onshore tour... Its not guaranteed. Also, the dining room is very generic... Best advice.... stick to the buffets... They have every single food item you can order at dinner and more.... No crowds, ocean view seats....GREAT FOOD AT BUFFETS! Sit down dinner not so good...
