Sail Date: Mar 2014

This March 22, 2014 Eclipse cruise was very nice overall and we enjoyed it. It got us out of the cold and snow of northern New Hampshire and that alone was worth the ticket.

We enjoyed the main dining room. The selections and food did not let us down. We ate in the buffet dining room for lunch twice. It was also very good. Breakfasts were split between the two venues and the dining room ended up being our first choice. We got tired of the Oceanview Café by the third day. Nothing much changed in there so it became a boring zoo with passengers walking around looking for a table. We settled for the hamburger grill and it was excellent.

The entertainment in the theater was very good with the exception of the next to last show when one of the dancers took a very bad fall, and the show was stopped. Not very much news about her condition but we did see her taken off the ship to the hospital in FLL. We hope she will be all right. The dancers all work so hard and are so talented. Sue Denning is an excellent cruise director. Very friendly and always available for a chat.

Cabin Review

A nice cabin. We had it last year and have one just a couple of doors down for 2015. The location mid-ship is very convenient. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.
