We stayed at the Radisson by the Port Friday night. Very nice experience, nice hotel and getting to the port was a breeze on Saturday morning. They shuttled us to the port and we were able to leave our car there for the week. This all came with the price of the hotel room. Great.

Getting on the ship was quite easy - half hour or so. We have waited much longer on other ships. The ship is very nice - pretty, easy to navigate, lots of color - beautiful ship. We thought the room was fine - bathroom maybe a little bigger than another line we were on. Comfortable place to sleep and get dressed for the next event! Have done 2 Carnival cruises and I must say - the entertainment is the best. Really good shows and we loved Wee Jimmy (cruise director.) Glory Dancers were great too. Just too much going on to take it all in. But try. Food was great - for the most part we ate in the Platinum Dining room and the service was wonderful. Enjoyed the dinners and breakfasts very much in the dining room - wonderful food. Otherwise we ate at the various places on the ship. Loved the variety of foods - fish and chips spot, Asian food, Pizza (loved that), the Deli and of course, the Grand Buffet. We always managed to find food we enjoyed. The midnight buffet was certainly lovely but we were too tired to eat. A must see. Also, the Chocolate buffet was a must do. On at-sea days we were always busy. Always able to find a chair to people watch!

Ports were fun and if you follow directions - quite easy. St. Thomas was a bit of a disappointment. It certainly isn't keeping its paradise very clean. Go to Megans beach and all will be forgiven!! Beautiful. The ride there was great - in that they stopped at a viewing area and you could see the whole bay and the cruise ships - from high above. St. Martin was wonderful - such a beautiful place. We loved Orient Beach - even with the topless old women (sad) we saw. We then did a snorkeling trip which we got through the ship. We really enjoyed that. Many beautiful fish and shipwrecks to see. It was quite a long snorkeling event which pleased us. The guys from the boat swam with us and gave us lots of information. Almost forgot about Nassau. There really is a lot to see if you have time but we went to the Atlantis Hotel and Casino on a water taxi. It is quite beautiful. Well, I would give this trip a 5 star and would go again easily.
