This was our very first cruise, so we have little to compare it to. We were on our anniversary trip and went for the cheapest room we could find. This was a decent cabin. My husband and I had a king bed. There was plenty of storage and did not even use all of the cabinets available. There was just enough room to walk around the bed. The bathroom was small but efficient. The room was very clean and we had a wonderful room steward, named Elena. We were having a problem with the fan in the bathroom working one morning and she came in to look at it for us. She immediately called someone and it was fixed within the next 20 minutes. The two complaints about this room that we had were: 1. The bed was hard. My husband liked solid beds for his back, but he even complained about this one. 2. This was to be expected because it was an interior room, but it was so dark in the room at night that you had no idea when it was daytime. It was rather disorienting. If you like to sleep all through the day, this will be great for you. I like to have some idea that it is daytime. If you don't mind a firm bed and want to spend less money, I would recommend this room. You will be out having fun and not spending a ton of time in your room anyway.

This ship was huge and had a very crazy looking decor. The staff was wonderful and were willing to help us feel comfortable no matter where we were. The shows were great. We really enjoyed "The Brits." We enjoyed the marriage game show, going to a dance class, the comedy show, and trivia. Many people told us not to go on Carnival because it was a party ship. I am not a big party person, but we found many things to do that did not include your typical party atmosphere. The food at Truffles and the Sushi place was great. I had no complaints. The buffet was typical buffet food. Not wonderful, but there were lots of options. Ice cream and pizza 24/7. The boat was clean and I appreciated how there was hand sanitizer in many areas of the boat to use. We went to 4 ports, Cozumel, Belize, Roatan, and Grand Cayman. All were enjoyable. My only complaints: quality of buffet food, 10 minute tours or explanations of services on the ship in order to be entered into raffles turn into 30 minutes +.

Overall we enjoyed the cruise and are very glad we went with the Legend.
