Sail Date: Mar 2014

We have just returned from a trip to Norway in search of the Northern Lights and everything about it was superb. The staff made the holiday; they were exceptionally friendly, efficient and courteous. The cleanliness of the ship was second to none, as was the food.

Perfectly adequate accommodation. Clean towels and bedding every day and toiletries, hair dryer and safe provided. Sufficient storage and comfortable beds. The only thing that could be improved on was the television.

At first I thought the excursions were expensive, but they were well worth it and value for money. It was a pity we didn't see the Northern Lights on the planned excursion but the excursion planners gave us all a dvd of the lights to help compensate towards our disappointment. The Captain made sure that we were informed as soon as he spotted the lights from the ship on two consecutive nights, so all was not lost.
