If you have never cruised, you will enjoy this ship. If you have cruised before, you will hate it! The Sunshine is a small cramped ship. The Cabins are nice and the ship is clean, but the venue areas and the public areas are just so small.

Embarking was easy, but the lady checking us in did not know what she was doing and kept asking us the same questions over and over. Once on the ship we explored all the areas only to find out right away that it was going to be a long week aboard a small ship. We were able to get into our cabin and unload our carry on, so we could enjoy lunch with out lugging our luggage.

The food on board was overall better than any other Carnival Cruise we have ever taken. With the exception of the buffet food. But, with so many other options, who needed to eat the buffet food? Guy's burgers were awesome. The main dining room food was very good also. The service staff were less then enjoyable. We have decided they must hate their jobs and wanted everyone to know. The wait time for my time dining was never an issue, except for lobster night. The only problem with my time dining was the checking in process, it was very unorganized. People pushing and shoving and people standing in the way while trying to check in.

Cabin Review

The cabins were clean and well kept up. Never had any issues with our cabin crew.
