Background: Only been on Carnival Elation, so that's all I have to compare this cruise with. Had a great time preparing for this cruise and the research was so easy with cruise critic. Everyone gave such great advice I could not have been more prepared.
Ship Info: I was really impressed with the Grand. It was so clean and smelled fresh through out the whole ship. I remember Carnival smelling musty. It even smelled fresh in the casino, except when the crowds showed up smoking of course. They even had one day that no one was allowed to smoke so the non-smokers could enjoy it. The ship looked new.
Activities: This was one of the reasons I booked this ship, all the activities. I love ceramics at sea, scrapbooking.
