Simply Brilliant!

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Tampa

Just Got off the Brilliance of the seas 5 night cruise to key west and Cozumel and it was amazing! The ship is in amazing condition! it was also very clean

Embarkation: Embarkation was a breeze we got to the port around 11:30 they really do a good job with it in Tampa everything is so organized, also it helped that we only live 15 minutes from the port we were off the car and on the ship in about 20 minutes

Food: The food was amazing! we had table #433 in the mdr and our waiters Erhan and Jonathan were flat out awesome they were very nice and quick we never had to wait long for our food everything we had was fresh hot and tasty i also ate at Chops one night that was also excellent i recommend the porter house or the filet mignon. the windjammer was its usual average to pretty good self the lunch was definitely better than the breakfast but overall pretty good. only thing i was disappointed in was I thought all ships got coke freestyle machines after dry dock this is More not the case but all ships should have them because its a pain to try to get a soda at any bar.

Crew: the crew was pretty good some better than others some cared some just looked like they didn't want to be there our room attendant was decent i never caught his name but he would always say hello in the hallway our room was always cleaned when we got back and we even got towel animals. my biggest complaint is the bar centrium bar staff they were super slow and my brother and dad waited for 20 minutes to get a drink and never got served there were people who walked up after them and got served.

Cabin: our cabin was very nice and clean we had staterooms 7016 and 7018 they're connecting deluxe balconys never had a complaint, the beds were very comfy too and the balconys were very big and had a nice view no obstructions what so ever.

Ship: the ship is in amazing condition and very well decorated never saw one hint of wearin tear or rust, i saw some people comment on the elevators i didn't have to wait to long for one even considering one broke for 2 days but they did act kind of funny missing my floor and bumping up and down at random points. still i LOVED the views of the ocean they gave you. The pool deck and sport court were very nice and the sweet 16 showing on the big screen were a plus the mini golf course is kind of small but they did a good job for the space they had to work with

Ports: Key West was fun small town with a lot to do we rented a scooter and drove it around town a lot of key west is being redone though if you are looking for something to eat i definitely recommend the half shell raw bar best seafood ever!. Cozumel- Cozumel was nice we went snorkeling which was amazing! never went into town just stayed in the port area but i warn you there are a lot of solicitors my mom said it was even worse in town we went to senor frogs for lunch which is amazing but very expensive but they do give you huge souvenir glasses to take home.

Overall: Amazing cruise this was my 3rd all with Royal Caribbean (Soverign, Enchantment, and now Brilliance) this topped the first 2 by far everything was perfect don't listen to these bad reviews RCCl is an amazing top notch cruise line and im already planning our 4th cruise on a bigger RCCl ship.

Im definitely loyal to royal! Less
