South America,Panama Canal to Miami.

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Panama Canal & Central America
Embarkation: Santiago (Valparaiso)

Our first Cruise on one of the Millennium Class Ships. I can see why they at a Favorite of veteran Cruisers.

They have an Uncrowded feel and a very Understated Décor.

The Great Service we have always enjoyed on Celebrity Ships and outstanding Food and Entertainment.

We were traveling with Friends and Relatives some of who were on their First Cruise.

For once we never used any of the Cruise Excursions but just looked for a Local Van and Guide in each port. The Large Bus groups are always limited by the Slowest person in the Group and we found we could tailor our stops to our own needs and the prices were always fair.

We were surprised how the Infinity's Captain spent a great deal of Time among the Guests and not just at the fancy Cocktail parties. One Morning at the Ocean view Café he was eating alone and when he finished he came to our table to ask how we were enjoying or Cruise and wanted our feedback on anything and More everything! I have never experienced that on any other ship.

Or Next Cruise will be on the Millennium in December. Less

Cabin review: Celebrity Infinity

We always book an Inside Cabin on a Dead End corridor on a higher deck as they are always quiet. We found a Balcony Cabin was a waste on money as we sleep better in the Dark and spend most of our non sleeping hours around the ship.
