Poor choice

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Bahamas
Embarkation: New York (Manhattan)

For newbies and children this is a decent ship, but for anyone who has sailed on Royal Caribbean, Princess or Celebrity this is a disaster.

The food was terrible, the entertainment brutal and the accommodations cramped.

There was no where on the ship to have quiet time.

They made this huge ship to increase passengers and reduce comfort room.

The only plus on this cruise were the crew. They were exceptional.

The cabin was small-the balcony smaller. The only redeeming factor was the steward who was polite and helpful

We were told with this larger ship Norwegian had made improvements in the size of their cabins and bathrooms. I did not find this so. The plus with the Spa cabin came with free access to the spa, but that was included in the price of the cabin

Everything was pay as go for specialty dinners and the main serving rooms--three of them all had basically the same menu. The buffet was atrocious with half the stations More being closed The food was not palatable or healthy.

The spa area was decent and not crowded

The stabilizers on the ship gave a smooth ride.

No further journeys with Norwegian Less

Port and Shore Excursions

Lovely Island--rode in a tender which was not too bad.
The island was wonderful to visit especially the cove area at the end of the island
Water at this time was a bit cool
Leaving was a little crowded but went well

Blue Lagoon Dolphin Swim

(5)

Enjoyable tour with dolphins as they are much better than some of the people on the cruise.
Expensive but worth the while to enjoy their company

Embarking was decent-- parked on the dock next to the ship. Cost is expensive at 280.00 for 7 days which included an 18.5% tax on parking.
Walk your bags to a large elevator and takes u down 3 floors where u give your checked backs to someone claiming to be from the cruise line--no signs or indicators.
Wait inside for your number to be called to board the ship
All in all not to bad.
Leaving the ship we chose early and carry your own luggage. The wait was ridiculous trying to get off the ship and a waste of time which we were trying to save.
