Ship Facts: Carnival Freedom Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Freedom Deck Plans
A great vacation

This was a last minute decission for us to go because i was waiting on passports to get in mail. My husband couldn't go because of work so it was myself, daughter and sister-inlaw. We don't see my sister in law much at all but she so much fun.

We booked hotels for 2 nights before cruise and also 1 night after. We stayed at Quality Inn. Nothing great about the hotel. Was near and shopping area so was able to get what we need before cruise.

We had a inside cabin. It was fine for us since we don't spend time in there other then sleeping and showering. The ship was nice. Food was ok. Staff was great as always.

First port was Grand Turk all we did was go to the beach and shop abit.

2nd port was La Romana (Casa de Campo), Dominican Republic. Well some of the people on the ship that went on this cruise before had us so scared to get off the ship and didn't want to even go here. But we looked out the windows of the ship and said it doesn't look like what they were saying so off the ship we went. We walk the hill and at the top was a little train that would take you into town. It was through Carnival and i believe it was 19.00. It took you to a little market if you wanted to get off and then they would pick you up later. There is also a beach tour you could have gone on with wifi for $25.00 each. These are tours i didn't see the tours.

3rd port was Aruba. We got off the ship and outside there were buses for tours. We took a tour for $20.00 each it took us around and then dropped us off the beach then we got picked up and back to ship.

4rd port was Curacao very beautiful nice to walk around and do some shopping and we also took a tour and went and saw the beach but no time to enjoy beach because we did too much shopping.

Over all we had a great time and did some tours off the ship cheaper.

Have fun cruising
