Spring Break family cruise on the Carnival Freedom (3/22-3/30)
Very easy embarkation other than the longer than expected wait parking our car at the KSA remote lot.
Bus driver made us load and unload our own luggage ... she seemed more interested in making sure that her cigarette didn't burn out while it was laying on the ground.
A little disapponted that Carnival no longer does sushi before dinner ... but the mini apps were pretty good.
Cabin was very standard .... nothing special, per se .... cabin steward (Eccene) was excellent.
All meals were great and we ate the majority of our meals in the main dining room whenever available.
Didn't watch any shows other than the juggling comedian who was entertaining.
Accoustic performer in the Swingtime lounge was OK .... other than his requests that we not smoke in that lounge ---- guess he missed the memo that it's a CIGAR BAR!
Didn't do any excursions this time .... just did our own thing in town at St Thomas, Antigua and Nassau and took a More taxi to beach in Cane Garden Bay while in Tortola.
Nine year old son opted out of Camp Carival for some reason but enjoyed putt putt golf.
We really liked the martini and wine tastings.
We went to Karaoke but couldn't sit there and listen to the elderly couple that monopolozed the request list ... Carnival needs to do a better job of policing that --- it was torture to the ears.
Disembarkation was a breeze. Carried off our own bags and were able to walk through in less than 15 minutes at 7am Less
