Carnival Breeze was defiantly a breeze! We recently went on this cruise ship for 6 nights. travelling through the western Caribbean. Since we are Canadians, we flew to Fort Lauderdale along the spirit airlines. Personally, our family didn't like spirit airlines at all. The service was poor and ridicu. First of all, Our flight was late both ways, this caused us to almost miss the ship. The turbulence was brutal. There was no relaxation. I wouldn't recommend spirit airlines at all. Overall, once you add up all the prices with luggage and carry ons, it is close to the same price as flying with any other air line.
the ships decoration and layout was phenomanal! The atrium was very eye catching. The ship is decorated in a tropical sensation with fake palm trees, and tropical items. The entertainment was amazing, my family loved Hasbro the game show and the adults loved Punchliner. The children's club was fantastic. These staff members were great with kids. They provided tons of fun activities. Our Stewart was named Wadodo. He was an amazing guy, we loved him. Some days there were times we would just crash for a couple hours and Wadodo kept track of making our beds and cleaning up the room. He knew our names off by heart. He wasn't there just to be our Stewart guy, he was there to talk to us. We have made a life time friend. As for the service, it was perfect. Whenever we would have an issue, one of the Carnival Staff would be there to help immediately. There was nothing that wasn't fixed or helped by them. The ship was very clean, decorative, friendly and entertaining.
On the Carnival breeze, our last stop was Cozumel Mexico. This port was phenomenal. When we docked, we had to walk a minimum of 2 minutes until we hit the duty free shop. After the duty free shop, outside there was shops everywhere. The scenery was beautiful, it unfortunately rained that day however it was gorgeous. There was a little hut shop in the middle by the restaurant. This was a place I loved. There were different type of lizards and water animals that are part of Cozumel. The lady was a hand painter there, she was amazing. She painted family names on one of the decors I bought, the ladies there were very sweet! I was able to make many deals with them! I defiantly recommend going there. Overall, Cozumel is the place to go whether on a cruise or on a resort trip!!
Our second port the cruise ship went to was agenda atman. This was a beautiful place to go. However the ship wasnt able to dock up close, so everyone had to tender. The tender boats and sea were terrible that day. When on our way back, many people were not at the ship on time. Many people were confused with ship time and Grand Caymen time. When we arrived onto the Caymen Islands, it was beautiful. We caught a ride to seven mile beach for an excursion. As part of the Seven Mile Beach, there were many water sports. We did parasailing for $120.00 for 3 people to go up. Parasailing for the first time, was an amazing experience. The water was gorgeous and the ride was worth it. It was about a 15 minute ride. I would definitely recommend parasailing in Grand Caymen.
Montego Bay was a little bit of a disappointment. When we docked, the ship didn't dock in a popular spot. When we got off the shop, there weren't many shops. At the most 5. Instead of taking a cab out of the port area, we decided to stay on the ship. If Carnival was to dock in abetter place, I would recommend docking near the beach and shops!
