Prior to arriving at the port we received 4 emails and 2 phone calls telling us not to get to the port until 1300 hours. Upon arriving at 1300 we were told we needed to waite... 2 hours later we were finally let on board. It was close to 4 pm by the time we were able to complete the boarding process and get to on the ship. The ship didn't even leave port until after 7 pm. We missed out on a half a day of being on the cruise. When we complaint to the customer service desk they basically said call Carnival's main office and they were not going to do anything for us, basically a don't care attitude. When we called the main office we were offered a “I’m Sorry” big whoop.

Once on board there was very little to do, my wife and I spent most of the time sitting around bored, playing "UNO".

We also booked the scenic ocean view window room, room # 9199 and paid an extra $280.00 for it. No one told us it was a part time window because you cant open the shades from sun down to sun up, and when it is open during the day it creates a solar panel for your room causing your room to heat up to about 90 degrees.

Cabin Review

Room has a beautiful view was is only part time. if you leave the shades up all day your room gets to be about 90 degrees. And you have to completely close the blinds from sundown until sunrise. If you have more then 2 in the room and use the fold out bed, it closes off the room so that who ever is in the bed can not get to the bathroom at night. in order to fix this you have to completely redo the entire room's furnature
