This was the first time on NCL. My husband and I had a great time. Embarkation went very smoothly. When you board you are permitted to put your things in your room before going to eat. Of course when you disembark you have to be out of your room by 8:30 am, so they can clean.

We ate at the buffet for every breakfast and most lunches. The food was not bad. I liked how the food was set up so that the same stations repeated themselves several times. This way you did not have long lines for a certain item. Seating was never a problem in this area. We ate at O'Sheehan for lunch 3x. I got the chicken pot pie. It was fantastic. We ate dinner in the main dining rooms. We would look at the menus each day to decide where to go. Taste and Savor seemed to have the same exact menus. The Manhattan had a slight variation of the other two. We did go to the Cirque Dream dinner show. You were not give a choice of meals. The food was slow to come out, and just barely warm. A twelve year old was at our table. They did not have a young person's meal. The show was great.

In regards to the the room stewards, waiters/waitresses, and recreation staff, they were always friendly and greeted us. They would make sure that we had everything we needed. As far as the guest services staff and the people at the entrance to various entertainment and eating venue, I did not find them very friendly. When we would ask questions, they seemed to have pat answers for things. Sometimes I felt they did not really listen to my questions. Also, staff talks to each other by phone. Many times staff were walking and talking and not aware of the people around them.

Cabin Review

Yes the inside cabins are small. For the two of us I had no problem finding places to store stuff. The luggage fit easily under our bed. I feel that even a third adult would have no problem.
