we traveled the west coast, visiting beautiful California cities. But arriving at the port and getting on the ship almost did us in! Very disorganized and took way too long. No one offered to take our luggage getting off the shuttle from LAX. So we waited in endless lines shoving it along with us, as did most other passengers. It was mayhem. Luckily no one lost their cool, but it was borderline mutiny. Once on the ship it was fine. The food was good and the servers and stateroom personnel were very attentive. No complaints there. Several ports were tendered and here again it was a disaster! Taking 2 to 3 hours to get off the ship at each port. No organization again! Someone at Celebrity definitely "missed the boat".
Entertainment was great and a free class in I Pad and I Phone usage was very informative and well attended. Celebrity could have offered some other free classes but didn't seem to realize we were interested in complimentary events. I realize this ship is having her last hurrah this year but things were not kept up in the common areas, showing her age and lack of attention from Celebrity. This was our first Celebrity experience and may be our last. After over 25 years of cruising this was probably our most disappointing regarding boarding and condition of ship. However the ports we visited were wonderful, as we are from the east coast. It was an easy and wonderful way to see the beautiful west coast!
