Left Brisbane on Thursday13th March, 2014. Unfortunately we Boarded at the Grain Terminal as another ship was alongside at the Brisbane Cruise Terminal However our Boarding only took about an hour from arriving at Doomben Race Course at 1040am to leaving by Coach to The Grain Terminal and Boarding the Sea Princess. Once onboard we quickly found our Cabin and the Boarding process was complete about 1140am.
This was our thirteenth Cruise and it couldn't have gone better considering the NZ weather report was stating a massive low was hitting NZ that weekend. The weather on our Cruise resulted in one of the smoothest Cruises we have enjoyed.
Our Cabin was as expected and considering the ship is about 16 years young very well kept, clean and in great condition. The Balcony is adequate for two persons and we spent some great times admiring the wonderful scenery fom our Balcony in Fiordland and other Ports & coastlines to name but a few. Our Cabin Steward was great & our room was always made-up and like new again when we returned from Breakfast every day.
Tim the Cruise Director did a great job and the entertainment on boat was very good, consisting of the usual Production Shows and some really good Guest Entertainers.
Couldn't fault the wonderful food in the Rigoletto Dining room (we dined in the main Dining Rooms for Breakfast Lunch & Diners) however the Main Dining rooms are closed on Port days so if on board on those days we enjoyed Pizza from the Cornish Cafe or grabbed something from the Riviera Grill on deck, it was all delicious. The public ares on the Ship are wonderfully kept and the staff were just very attentive and couldn't do enough to make us feel special, just a great experience.
