Just complete our 31 first cruise on Celebrity. It was great as usual. The ship was beautiful, the crew good, the staff excellent, the shows good to excellent and food was outstanding. We did select dinning and had very good experiences. We ate about same time most nights and we able to get same table each night. We experienced a captain's table on the first night of the cruise and meet three other couples that we enjoyed the rest of the cruise. It seems every cruise we meet some great people and lounge staff that make the experience memorable and enjoyable. Since we are elite plus we enjoy the cocktail hour every night and enjoy the people we meet. Back to the meals, we also ate at the Tuscan and Quisine restaurants. At the Tuscan we had a great experience but food was not that great compared to dining room and the up charge. It is great for the view and romantic experience though. The quinine was really good and we went with another couple who we met on the ship and it allowed us More
both to experience more choices. Not a place to alone, it was better to share many things. Worth the experience but could not do every cruise.
The shows were great. The sin city comedy club was fantastic. We also enjoyed the band that played in grand foyer and at the pool. They were from England. Female voice was great. It was nice to here some modern music. We also liked the guitar player and the there woman group that played.
Overall Cruise was great.
We have been to San Juan, St Maartin, and St Kitts before. All are good ports. Did not do much, we used to do snorkeling on St Maartin and St Kitts but not this time. We just shopped a little and enjoyed ship while everyone was off the ship.
Embarkation was good. We got on very early, we probably messed up. We were searched and had to give up our cork screw. We have used this for over 25 cruises and finally caught us. The irony of it was we asked the cabin stewart for one and he gave us one for the entire cruise to use and it was exactly the same kind. We laughed. Disembarkation was smooth also. Less
