#23 and better than ever!

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Tampa

I didn't think we could have a best ever cruise after sailing 22 times....but I was wrong. The Legend is an amazing ship, the staff better than almost any other, the food was amazing and we had a great cruise.

We have sailed the Legend many times in the past and she is one of our favorite ships. This time was extra great. Our wait staff, Rolie, XZ, & Edsel were best, bar none. They made dinner an event each night and really took great care of us. If I could have the three of them on every cruise it would be perfect. The casino was tight but overall a lot of fun. The ports were great, been there and done them all in the past so no surprises. We had perfect weather. Getting on and off the ship was seemless and easy. The food was served hot, tasted great and we enjoyed every aspect of the cruise. Booked two future cruises while on board to take advantage of the OBC offered. The staff was always smiling, always said good morning, and worked super hard. I have nothing but More respect for how hard all of them work and how pleasant they always are. Fron the check in lady to the last guy we seen as we left the ship, they all went out of their way to be pleasant. Yes there were rude guests on board, that is a given, but that isn't Carnivals fault. They can't screen their guests for rudeness before allowing them to board! In some cases I am sure they wish they could. Overall an amazing trip that I didn't want to end. Thank you Carnival Legend staff, your the best. Less

Cabin review: Carnival Legend 4711

Low to the water, great views. No outside noise of any kind other than kids running in the halls.

Port and Shore Excursions

Been there, done that. No nice beaches, nothing wotrth getting off the ship for in our opinion. Spent a relaxing day on board ship.

Spent the day at Nachi Cocum......we have been there 5 times and it only gets better every time. Best service, best food, beautiful water, very relaxing. Wouldn't miss a chance to spend a day there!

Took a taxi to 7 mile beach, public area. Rented chairs, swam, relaxed, ate lunch and drank. Very nice area to relax and people watch. Island music playing from the pub. Fodd & drinks are pricey, but tasted good. Great fish tacos. $5 per person, taxi to the beach.

Perfect beach with great chairs, shade and good food and booze within walking distance of where the ship is docked. Love this port for the ease and relaxation of everything being so close. Good shopping right off the ship as well. Wish the stop was longer at this port.
