Sail Date: Mar 2014

This was our 11th cruise and our 2nd on Royal Caribbean. We always base on our cruises on the itinerary and we had taken this cruise seven years ago on the same ship. We love all the islands where the ship stops and each one is a bit different. We did not do shore excursions with the ship. We do favor Princess but we find each cruise has its pros and cons.

Embarkation was a breeze. We loved our balcony room and it is definitely bigger than those on Princess.

This ship is beautiful and well laid out. It was very clean but does show some wear and tear. The bed linens were clean as were the towels but many were gray and not white in color and frayed. They should be replaced and this has nothing to do with the age of the ship. Beach towels were not available on many days. They said there was a shortage because people leave them on the beach. On Princess your room steward leaves 2 beach towels, you return them and get 2 more or you are charged. Simple solution.

Cabin Review

Nice size room. Showing signs of wear tear. For example the furniture has scratches and there was rust around the sliding glass door. The room was very clean and everything was in perfect working order.
