We just got off of the 3/15 sailing. Our plan was to go to New Orleans, but after a major snowstorm and a complete debacle by US Air, we ended up on a last-minute sailing. This was the first time that we had an inside cabin. We wondered if we would feel claustrophobic. It was just fine. The only thing was, that upon awakening, we had no idea if it was 3:00am or 9:00am : )
In the Oceanview Cafe, the food variety was immense. They had countless stations for salads, sandwiches, soups, made to order stir forts and pastas, pizza, Indian and Mexican, cheeses....it was all very good. We also dined in Murano, which was amazing.
The entertainment was great, especially the shows by the main group of dancers/singers. The Sin City comedy show was funny. There are countless bars that offer such cozy and comfortable atmospheres. We loved the jazz, Big Mike and his band and the many talented musicians in each venue. This ship was much livelier than the Summit to Bermuda. I have seen a few complaints regarding loud music at the pool area. If you sit on the upper balcony or go into the Solarium, you will have a more peaceful atmosphere. Every single employee was very service-oriented and could not do enough for us.
