This was our first time to go on a cruise and we enjoyed it very much.
First, the location of the port was nice (New York city).
Getting on and off was very good and organized. Norwegian also has an App for your iDevice (iPhone, iPad etc.) to help communicate with your family/friends on board the ship, like text and voice just make sure to download the app at Apple App store before you get on board or you will have to pay to download at the Internet Cafe for internet access.
Stateroom was very good size, washroom was good and good clean design, specially the big shower area.
Our stateroom help (housekeeping) was great he kept our stateroom clean and alway with new towels.
Guest Service Rep. was very friendly and very helpful, they went out of their way to help.
Food was very good and good choice at the Garden Cafe Buffet. Washy-Washy - They kept everyone's hands clean.
Manhattan (main dinning room) and Taste/Savor More
(contemporary) was very good our server was excellent they made sure you are happy with your entree and if not they were happy to replace it. One thing we learned from our cruise is, you be nice to your servers they will treat you like royals.
Le Bistro was excellent food and excellent service!!! The Best
Entertainment was very good. We watched Rock of Ages, Cirque Dream and Dinner Jungle Fantasy, Burn the Floor. Very good shows. Come early to get good spot.
The only drawback I can say is the smell of smoke from the Casino they need to vent it better.
The kids, my wife and I really enjoyed the trip and we will plan our trip again.
