First time Celebrity Cruise

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Southern Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

We travelled on Celebrity Eclipse cruise on March 08 to the Southern Caribbean. We were in Aqua Class and enjoyed the cruise very much. The embarkation was easy and we had lunch on board and then found our room soon after. All the staff were very friendly and very eager to please. We dined in Blu every night for dinner and also for breakfast. We enjoyed the small intimate atmosphere and yet still made friends with other couples. We soon chose our favourite table matched by very attentive waiter and wine sommelier. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub and always found a sun lounge. The gym was very spacious and we enjoyed the gym classes in the morning. The Zumba class was good fun and a great workout! We attended the shows every night and the 3 pool parties. We enjoyed all of them even though they were suited to different tastes and age groups. The café was great for coffee's and cakes in the afternoon. We had the classic beverage package and enjoyed our coffees and sparkling More wine and red wine with our meals, it was worth every cent. The shopping on board was excellent! We did a ship excursion at every port and enjoyed all of them and considered them good value. We will return to Celebrity next year for a different itinerary and will again choose Aqua Class. The disembarkation was not rushed and handled efficiently. Very happy to be joining the Captains Club to start enjoying extra benefits for our future cruises. Less

Cabin review: Celebrity Eclipse 1591

Our room was very spacious but the only complaint was that I am a light sleeper and the pool deck was directly above us so I was woken every morning at 6.30am by the movement of pool chairs above so will select a different cabin next time!
