If you are a first time cruiser you may enjoy this cruise. If you are a seasoned cruise, not so much. After 25+ cruises we decided to take a chance on Carnival/Fantasy. Price was the determining factor. Big mistake. We had asked for a table for 8 and got a table for 10 with only one or two other couples showing up.

This ship is overdue for a major restoration but I don't think that will help. First time we ever had a cabin-U87 that did not have a thermostat for heat. A/C yes but no heat and we froze first three days. We had to run both bath and sink water for 15 minutes before using because the water came out rusty. Plumber came on second day and put in new filter. It did not help and rusty water continued for duration. Food was plentiful but mediocre, and entertainment was very poor quality. We did like both our waiter Edgar and room steward Dewi. It was spring break and all the college kids were very well behaved and a pleaure to talk to. Debarkation was a nightmare. We left the cabin at 8:00am and sat in the lounge until 9:40am to debark. Passengers that had relatives waiting to pick them up were very frustrated. Oh well!. Live and learn

Cabin Review

Cabin was large but lacked decoration. No thermostat and balcony very small.
