Don't knock it till you try it. This is our second Costa cruise in two years. Our first one was the most fun we had and this one is not far behind. The ship is well maintained. The staff are friendly. Both the cabin steward and the dining room team were great, dinner takes one hour fifteen minutes almost everyday.
Dining room food is hit or missed and portions are smaller than other cruise lines. The buffet was open for full dinner on the first three evenings only. The lunch buffet was great, lots of choices. The grill served steak fries and their chicken burger ie great. The pasta was not cook well, not aldente but just under cook most of the time. Dessert selection was poor. I am just pointing out some of the weakness in the food area, when the dish was done right it was very good. Costa need to get rid of those stupid water and ice dispensers that uses sensors. They do not work properly most of the time, it will drive you crazy. Offer more than just ice tea would be great.
The entertainment was just ok this time but it was great on our previous Costa cruise. However, ballroom dancing is just as good as before. Best ballroom music and dancing at sea.
Good size but this is an adjoining cabin. You will hear the next cabin through the connecting doors.
