Sail Date: Mar 2014

I have sailed with Carnival now about 7 times and the Carnival Magic is by far the nicest ship, loved the layout and the decor.

A few things, however, have changed. I felt the food quality was way down. The dining room was average, first time ever that I didn't really care for the lobster. Nothing wowed me, not even the desserts. The best meal onboard was at the Prime Steakhouse, $35 per person and well worth it. The service there was amazing too.

As for the drinks, they were about half the size and cost a lot more, approx. $11 for a mixed drink. If you want somewhat of your $'s worth, get a long island, Carnival is now offering a drink program for alcohol, but it is a pretty hefty cost on that too.

Cabin Review

Cabin was very nice, seemed roomier although the same as before, they arranged it a bit different. No problems, it was as expected.
