This was our 2nd cruise, 1st on Carnival though.
-Overall, we had a great time on our vacation-we had amazing weather, slept comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed this itinerary.
-We were in stateroom 8220 and enjoyed our room. This is an extended balcony-note it's just before the "bump" so you cannot see a view when trying to look forward but you can see plenty straight out and looking aft. I loved having a balcony to sit out on. The downfall is smokers-their ashes end up all over the balcony and if you have loud neighbors...you can pretty much plan on being part of their conversation.
Cabin Review
Great size room and balcony. Minimal Lido Deck noise as this is under carpeted area near the Deli line above you. Note that you won't have a view looking forward b/c the rooms "bump out" but there's plenty to see looking straight out and aft. This room is conveniently located to the aft elevators and we loved the nearness of the Lido deck!
