The Most elegant and luxury cruise ever, attention to detail

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Southern Caribbean
Embarkation: Miami

We just got back from sailing for the first time on Oceania, it was marvelous. I see why they were awarded the ship of the year for 2013. The food in ALL the restaurants was top quality and so much variety. Dining in specialty restaurants without the upcharge was very nice. All the staff and crew were friendly and were greeting us by name by the second week.

The cabins were spacious, comfortable and clean. Granite bathroom with bathtub and linens were top notch. We have never gone on Oceania before and now I am not sure we could ever take another line. I felt pampered the whole time. We did 9 ports, so it was a port intensive cruise, was happy to have two sea days at the end to just "chill". Less

Cabin review: Riviera veranda

The cabin was very nice, on deck 7 but had enough storage for all our clothes and we never felt confined. We did enjoy our balcony a lot, having happy hour out there while the sun sets. Our room steward was excellent and I think our room was cleaned and picked up at least 3 times a day

Port and Shore Excursions

Catamaran Tour

Nice sailboat and we stopped at two snorkeling spots. Then they did a BBQ onboard with lots and lots of yummy food along with any drink you wanted. Top notch operation and a very fun day.

We rented a car which was very easy and the island is very flat and one main road. We are divers and have been to Bonaire before so it was simple to get around. We saw the slave huts, salt flats and did some snorkeling at Captain Don's. Enjoyed Rum Runners for lunch overlooking the crystal clear water.

ATV Island Tour

This was our favorite tour of the entire trip. Our guide took us around the entire island while we drove our own ATV. Past the airport with the shortest runway, saw 4 planes land. The island is clean and beautiful. French and much more expensive then any of the others.
