My husband and I cruised to New Zealand on the Oosterdam for our 50th Wedding anv and to visit family and friends. We had a amazing time and really enjoyed all that was offered on board.
My only comment is that if you have a problem with walking, there really is a lot of it to do between Dining at one end of the ship and entertainment at the other end. Then again if you plan you time there are plenty of places to rest on the way.
The food in the dining room was great, as much or as little as you want .Plate of Fresh vegetables available all you have to do is ask. Staff were so helpful and happy people. We did anytime dining and loved the fact of meeting lots of different folk.
I totally recommend this cabin to those who want to save a few dollars but have a nice room, we found this cabin very comfortable. It was mid ship and near the elevators so easy to access all parts of the ship. you still can get a good view from the window which is nearly a full wall. This is a good cabin as they don't lower the tenders outside your window, like the ones up the front of the ship where people complained about being woken up early by the noise at ports needing tenders
