Not having traveled in a while on Celebrity Cruises, instead on sister line Royal Caribbean, we agreed to travel with friends on the Celebrity Reflection. The ship was beautiful. The cabin had plenty of storage for our things, including space under the beds for the suitcases, although being short it was a little hard to reach the over-the-bed storage. The shower was one of the roomiest I've had on a cruise ship with a little bar in the shower to rest your foot when shaving.

The only problem was the ship wasn't really set op to handle people with gluten intolerance. If you wanted gluten-free bread, you got toast. They would take two slices of white bread out of a freezer and since it was frozen it had to be toasted to give it to you. Breakfast menus in the dining room were not marked with GF items. If you ate at the buffet, which was necessary at times, finding someone to tell you what was safe to eat was next to impossible. When I asked one time, I was taken over to an area and a hand was waved in the vicinity of some food, some of which were clearly not gluten-free. As for dessert, there were no special gluten-free desserts except for cookies that were dry like sawdust. If I hadn't brought some things with me from home, I would have been miserable about the food on the trip.

Cabin Review

Beautiful cabin with lots of storage space. Only problem is you couldn't sit on the veranda in the afternoon because it got too hot.
