After earning 36 Latitudes rewards points, this cruise so so disappointing that I do not believe I will book another cruise with NCL. The ship is designed and run to make as much money as possible, so much so as to affect the quality of the voyage for the guests. There are floors of staterooms between the main decks 5/6/7 and deck 15, and the amenities on the ship do not cater to the incredible amount of people on board. With a few exceptions (two waiters and our room steward), service was inattentive and often downright rude. Any time a large number of guests were congregated (dining areas, guest services, disembarkation, muster drills), it was completely inefficient and unorganized.

ACTIVITIES: As was the theme of the trip, the activities onboard were lackluster and disappointing. The “game shows” and workshops had poor participation (no real effort to inform guests about them), were poorly put together, and… truly the only words that come to mind are dumb and lame.

The only redeeming factors were the shows (Blue Man Group, Legends - limited but enjoyable, Cirque - $39/person for premium, Second City for adults).

Cabin Review

The overall layout of the ship was a mess. It's a huge vessel, and there are inconveniently just two staircases at the forward and aft with the casino (smoke and all) in the center of the main deck 7.The rooms themselves (we had two balconies on deck 10) are a headache with the shower and toilet IN the stateroom, adding to the headache that is the curved design. The bed and couch are rounded and curved to the countertop, which makes the room impossible to navigate when more than one person is present. Looking at the images, imagine one person using the mirror across from the bed and another person wanting to cross from the entrance to the balcony side of the room (the second person is literally trapped unless he/she crawls across the bed).
