We loved the ship so much we went back on for another vacation.

Sail Date: March 2014
Destination: Western Caribbean
Embarkation: Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

The price you can't beat it for (Royal Caribbean) a 5 night cruise to Labadee, Haiti, and Falmouth, Jamaica. I booked months in advance and got decent prices for 2 interior staterooms on deck 9. I decided to go back on this ship again because last year was simply amazing doing their Belize, and Cozumel itinerary.

Departure Day - We arrived at the port at 11:00am, checked in and we were on the ship by noon. We made it just in time because before we knew it the line was extremely long. Our first stop on the ship was purchasing our drink package. We are drinkers and the only reason why we choose to do the 55/day was because we were able to use the package on Labadee. So for 275.00 for the week including the grat seemed well worth it. We also received a trevis cup for the purchase. We then went to the Windjammer Cafe. Food was ok, I never really cared for the food up there even last year. Roughly 1pm our rooms were ready and so we dropped off our carry on stuff in and then went More by the pool where we laid out for the rest of the day. Dinner was good we had an 8:30pm seating. Our service staff however for this night was a bit off, not like it was the year before. I believe because all our servers tables sat at the same time is what delayed the service.

Sea Day - Sea Day, I did a yoga class which was a bit hard and then we hung out by the pool all day, using our drink package watching all the spring breakers drink themselves to no end but they were harmless. Formal night was nice, some people were really dressed up some were not. Food was great in the dinning room I had the rack of lamb. At night we saw In The Air which we saw last year and it was a very cool show to see on a ship.

Sea Day - The last day we all just relaxed, nothing too special went on played some bingo by the pool, had a great dinner (Prime Rib and Lobster Tail) luggage was out by 11:30pm and we collected our pictures of the trip we got 4 pictures for 60.00 we saved 20.00 cos of crown and royal.

Arrival at Fort Lauderdale - We slepted in till 7:00, half the ship was already ready to get off we ate breakfast and was told to meet in the lounge at 9:45am we arrived at 9:15 and they said you can go right down to deck 1 because all the passengers were already off. Which last year we waited almost 2 hours to get off in the lounge so that was nice. Less

Port and Shore Excursions

Dunn's River Falls

Falmouth - We were off the ship by 9:00am, the port is beautiful HOWEVER!!!! The organization for the excursions was a mess. People everywhere, it was a bit chaotic they need a better system like meeting on the ship first like usual. Anyway we did the Dunns River Fall Express. it was so worth the 70 bucks! The excursion was suppose to be from 9:00am - 1:00pm but it was more till 2:00pm. The bus ride was an hour long while our tour guide explained the history and the scenery we were driving by. We arrived at the falls where we all had to form a human chain and start climbing. The climb took us about an hour. There was 20 of us linked together a dunns river guide helps you along the way along with a videographer. The water was FREEZING! and the guides have no problem splashing at you and dunking you. It was extremely beautiful. Then on the way back we stopped by Discovery Cove where I had the best jerk chicken and then back to the port. We did some shopping then boarded the ship at 3:30pm. Night we did the ALL White Pool party which was fun then the after party. Also did some gambling (WON) in roulette. Also after dinner we saw the love and Marriage show it was SOO FUNNY!! like any of the shows but defiantly a must see.

Labadee - One note, if you like to run or take a morning walk go at 7am, and you will be amazed while pulling into the port the scenery is outstanding. All Mountains!!! It was the best walk we ever did. We always ate breakfast in the dinning room its from 7:30 - 9:30. It was always great, we were off the ship by 9:30 and the beach monitors gladly helped us get lounge chairs and umbrella for the chairs in a perfect view of the beach close to the bars and the food gazebo where they have lunch for the guest of the ship. They do have a market to shop, we were told not to bring cash just sea pass but there was shopping where it was cash only so BRING CASH! Lunch is free, and beverages you can use your sea pass. My brother and I were suppose to do the zip line however the weight restrictions went up 50 lbs due to the wind so I couldn't do it but we got our money refunded. We were back on the ship by 3, at night we saw a Mowtown Single (forgot his name) he was really good fully of energy.
