Poor pre cruise service fom MSC UK
Quick & easy embarkation 11.30am, cabin was ready and buffet lunch provided.
Maps of the ship/deck plans not given out.
Ship, looked very clean and spacious with large mirrors everywhere but NO MONITORING OF HAND SANITIZING WHEN ENTERING EITHER THE BUFFET OR RESTAURANT
Buffet meals had plenty of fresh fruit & salad as well as a good choice of main courses & excellent desserts, sadly the hot food was warm
Restaurant meals were very disappointing again served warm and usually very greasy
Got hassled for first 2 days to buy a drinks package £35 a day approx EACH.
No information/map in the daily paper about the ports of call, apparently unless you book a MSC excursion its up to you to find out what there is to see and do
If you opt out of the automatic gratuity system it is not actually stopped until your final account is printed which means if you pay Euros into your onboard account you could end up "owing money" and get hassled by the accounts staff.
With the exception of the daily cabin staff who were so friendly and pleasant the big minus was the crew who were generally miserable and unfriendly, often spoke English for pleasantries but "no English" for complaints
