Sail Date: Mar 2014

We are seasoned cruisers, 15 with Princess,1disney, and this was our second with carnival. We were on the Splendor 2 years back, beautiful ship, so we did the future cruise thing. March 1 we sailed on the Miracle.

We never at any time met or saw our room steward. Room was always taken care of, but how strange not to be greeted by the person? Food was much better than on the Splendor with 1 exception. We tried Nora and Nicks steakhouse. Service was mediocre, our filets were burned on the outside, and not tender. We even saw smoke coming from the kitchen....to top it off, when our waitress took our sign and sail card for payment, she comes back and says our card was over the limit....NOT...people around us could hear this, it was soooo embarrassing . I look at the receipt, and see that the folio number was not ours. It was a crew members number. Asked that they try to run it through again, it went ok to our account. The manager came over, apologized, half heartedly, and asked for the original receipt back. Sorry, we refused and took it right to the guest services desk. They were completely baffled as to what was going on, and started investigating. Paying $70 for that experience was not a happy memory.. So, I'd say look at your receipts, and stick to the dining room.

Activities and music on this cruise were terrible. Can't wait to cruise in 4 weeks back on the Grand Princess. The carnival miracle was also very gaudy in decor also.
