It was the first time I have been on a cruise in over 20 years and the first ever cruise for my wife.

From the time we embarked to disembarkation it was one of the best most luxurious holidays I have ever had.

The Queens Grill is best described as the equivalent of first class. The suites were very comfortable with king bed, walk in wardrobe dressing table, living room, large balcony, large bathroom, bar/ kitchenette and butler service.

Dining in Queens Grill was exceptional with anything you could want Caviar, foi gras, truffles, head waiter would cook whole Dover sole, Chateaubriand, beef Wellington, duck a l'orange, lobster and crepe Suzette at your table. The menu changed for lunch and dinner daily, all the finest ingredients you could ever hope to eat.

The passengers in general would More have average age of 70 we were among several couples in our 50's and there was a lady on board who celebrated her 101st Birthday.

The entertainment was fantastic with two huge theaters and Ballrooms and numerous bars and pools to enjoy. The musicians entertainers and speakers were all of the highest standard and most interesting. Sir Jackie Stewart (Ex Formula 1) was an example of one of the speakers on board and was just inspirational.

The planetarium is also not to be missed.

The ports and excursions around Australia and Bali were fantastic and very well organised.

The last two days of our voyage were spent in the best suite on the ship Q1 Sandringham Duplex suit two floors of luxury. Ground floor has entry foyer, butlers pantry, guest bathroom, study, library, huge lounge room, dining room and of course the huge balcony overlooking deck 8 band area and pool. After mounting the beautiful staircase you have exercise bike and binoculars on landing the master suite with two walk in wardrobes each side of the bedroom and massive bathroom with huge roman bath separate shower and toilets.

All in all the best holiday ever and we have stayed in some of the worlds best hotels and resorts.....nothing compares to the luxury that the QM2 can offer. Less

Cabin review: Queen Mary 2 (QM2) 90069 Sandringham Suite

The ultimate luxury spanning two levels 2249 square feet. Endless views of the ships aft. Massive balcony, living room and dining room great if you have friends on board and wish to entertain. This truly must be the best suite on the seven seas on what must be the most magnificent liner the world has seen.
