Just off the Freedom; celebrated 60th b'days with 3 girlfriends; left hubbies at home :) We were hesitant at first about the numbers associated with the ship, i.e. passengers, amenities, size, etc. We found the ship very well laid out and were surprised that there were few to no lineups for anything given the capacity and number of guests/crew.

Although most are anxious to get on the ship as soon as possible, we embarked around 3PM and there were no lineups and it took no time at all. Luggage came just after dinner. Rooms were lovely but EXTREMELY small, however we managed fairly well.

Highlights: 1) Promenade. We had Promenade rooms. When drapes are closed, room is completely dark;no sound from Promenade below. Only drawback is rooms across can see into your room if your drapes are open. Didn't matter much though.
