Ship Facts: Carnival Breeze Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Breeze Deck Plans
Breeze is Incredible!!

This was our seventh cruise and our second Carnival cruise. Our first Carnival cruise was less than stellar due to being surrounded by excessive smoking and rowdiness. But after being bored by our last Celebrity cruise and finding Royal way too expensive, and discovering the Spa rooms, we thought we would try Carnival again. The Spa rooms are in a totally non-smoking and very quiet area of the ship. The room itself was just fine and the spa facilities absolutely splendid.

There was always something to do when we weren't in total relax mode! The Punchliner comedy club was hysterically funny and wildly entertaining and jam packed every night we went. All the comics were first rate and had us laughing until it hurt.

Music around the ship was excellent with our favorite being #Rythmnation which entertained us with three stellar sets a night in the Ocean Breeze lounge. They played everything from 60s right up to today's music and they wowed the crowed each night they played. Most of the large crowds were repeat attendees who couldn't get enough the band.

We only caught one of the song and dance shows in the theater and were most impressed.

The islands we visited were Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Curacao and Aruba. Three out of four were fantastic. Take Dominican off the excursions. They don't have a clue about customer service or how to treat tourists. The other three though we a delight to visit. Basically we just wanted to hang out at the beaches, so with other cruisers, we got taxis to transport us to the beaches for $5 a person each way which was far cheaper than the Carnival excursions which were never less than $49.95 per person.

Service was very good. We had an excellent room attendant. Even though we had anytime seating we found ourselves a fantastic waiter and sat in his section each night and received first rate service. The food was generally pretty good. I'm not a foody and was pretty happy with most of the meals.

All in all it was an excellent cruise. Debarkation was done very well and the shuttle to the airport was hassle free. We can't wait to go again next year on the Breeze.
