Dream a number of times, we knew all about the pros & cons of this ship. We flew out from Manchester in mid February bang on time on on a Boeing 767 of First Choice which was very good.
The itinerary was good with 4 Islands the first week a two sea days and 6 the following.
What is going on with the sun bed situation as it is now beyond a laugh. Be up by 7am to get your spot and don't move! Come the afternoon where the AI-ers got toped up there was some very ugly scenes?
The staff mostly were very friendly of the mainly Phillipino and Indonesian crew were as good as ever and are the only real Thomson strength.
The ship is simply not up to CLASS now and Thomson must act soon if their fleet is not to becoming unfit for purpose
There have been many previous comments about the 'Platinum' upgrade, which really was a sales gimmick. Small flat-screen TVs and Hot drink trays in each is this Platinum' cabins.

noticeable cut-back in a number of areas. Our main gripe was with the evening dinner in The Orion. As ever, the waiters were excellent but the food offered has deteriorated. No steaks whatsoever unless you paid a £10 supplement the food was very bland and at times inedible! Steak under the Stars*** £15pp?
A charge of £15 per week or £25 per fortnight is levied for the cabin safe unacceptable in this day and age ( Think they must be the only Cruise company to charge ). You can now pay for VIP this and VIP that what' that all about. THOMSON MONEY MAKING!!
The entertainment as also suffered and it's more or less make your own. What is a Deck Fest? Noisy and get up and do it your self. The show team was very average to what we have seen on other Thomson Cruises???
Thomson have flourished by providing good quality cruises with excellent service aimed at the British market at very good prices. NOT ANY MORE. We have enjoyed many excellent cruises with them but this as now defiantly ENDED.( We did see people booking for there next Cruise WITH Thomson).This no longer applies for us. They are as expensive as many other cruise lines and their product facilities, food no longer justifies the cost. Less
